IMF showdown
Aiyah if u were to say that those floral display cannot be permanent along the roads and streets...why can't more tropical or suitable plants be planted after this IMF showdown?..... we don't just impress the delegates rite?........since u wanna make it into a "city in the garden", "garden in the city"......whatever..........u should preserve this concept and make it happen...instead of just being impressive during this period of international attention rite?

I totally agree with you 100%. I'm not trying to make my life difficult by criticizing our government or any other companys that are involved in the "plant & flower" project for that matter. I feel that it is a total waste of the tax payer's money by doing so. However, there are pros as well. One of it being, we can leave an ever lasting impression on them and hopefully bring up the number of tourist coming to singapore each year.
